Background:
The brand wanted to highlight its vital product, the V-Strom 250’s performance and capabilities, by creating something that would make significant recall value. The challenge was to decode the brand’s vision into on-ground reality by creating an experience that had never been done before.
Approach:
Translating an unconventional vision to achieve what others deem impossible, we eagerly embraced a bold challenge many believed could never be realised. With a vision to cover the maximum number of mountain passes in just 24 hours, we coined “Ride Through Impassable.” This bold approach set the stage for the Suzuki 8 Passes Expedition, where we would traverse the rugged terrain of Ladakh and its towering mountain passes.
Our ambitious goal was to conquer Ladakh’s highest eight passes on two wheels in just 24 hours, a feat that would set a record in the prestigious Indian Book of Records. Against all odds, we met and exceeded expectations, triumphantly crossing nine mountain passes in only 18 hours.
Riders embarked on an incredible journey through India’s formidable landscapes, facing temperatures as low as -3 degrees Celsius, heavy snowfall, and relentless rain. This adventure tested our limits and revealed the stunning beauty of nature’s extremes.
